Overview
Mosaica Education’s 2008 Summer Challenge-English is a five-week program designed to offer students a fun way to substantially increase their mastery of the English language. The program will serve 125 girls from grades 10, 11 and 12 and will feature a series of engaging workshops selected specifically for their appeal to girls of these grade levels.
These workshops are each one week in duration, and will incorporate hands-on projects, use of technology and excursions to relevant local points of interest. Topics to be covered include:
- UAE Women of Fashion: Reflections on the Past, Present and Future
- The Media Campaign: Baniyas – the Latest Tourist “Hot Spot”
- Kitchens and Cooking: Meet the Chef
- My CD Novel: from Concept to Creation
- Develop one’s Own Business
Summer Challenge-English will be conducted at the Al LuLu School in Baniyas and will run from Sunday 15th June 2008 to Thursday 17th July 2008. Each day will start at 8:40 AM and end at 1:00 in the afternoon.
